Five hundred lives saved by drones worldwide

Technology expert Djuro Sen has praised drone use for rescue operations, calling them “very handy”.
Drone operator DJI has found that 500 people worldwide have been saved by drone technology worldwide, including in a beach rescue in Perth.
“Drones can cop a lot of grief but in this situation they can be very handy,” he told Sky News.
He urges drone owners to be on guard in case they spot an emergency and that commercially available drones have “helped authorities”.
“Keep an eye out this summer, you can help out if someone gets lost,” he said.
